Launch, demo and localization

1.0.0

Welcome to Elderfield 1.0.0 launched on Steam on 10 September 2026, with Chris Cote's post naming that version and a 10 percent introductory discount. A free Steam demo, app 3195680, launched on 7 October 2024. itch.io still hosts Welcome to Elderfield v0.6.5 DEMO.zip as a Windows RPG Maker vertical slice dated 20 November 2025. Demo patch v0.11.17 on 1 September 2026 added official Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and Russian, plus a Social menu, loadouts and a fan-translation autoload path.

Official store still: The Great Pumpkin.

1.0.0 on 10 September 2026

Steam lists the full release date as 10 September 2026. Chris Cote's launch post says the game is releasing into 1.0.0. US price is $17.99 with a 10 percent introductory discount to $16.19. Copyright 2026 Ill-Advised Records, exclusively licensed to Kwalee Ltd. The launch trailer on Kwalee Gaming is the public film for that day.

Steam Deck VERIFIED news landed with the late demo notes and remains the official Deck claim. Soundtrack DLC is a separate $4.99 app. If you still want a free slice, the Steam demo app and the itch zip both remain listed.

Kwalee is the publisher on the storefront; Chris Cote and Ill-Advised Records remain the credited studio. The launch post is the version stamp, the Steam date is the calendar stamp, and the 10 percent discount is the price stamp. All three belong to 10 September 2026.

Controller support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing shipped with the full Windows build. Color alternatives, custom volume, subtitles, keyboard-only and play-at-your-own-pace flags are also on the Steam feature list, which matches a game that offers Cozy as well as Nightmare.

Steam demo, itch slice and v0.11.17

The Steam demo launched on 7 October 2024 as app 3195680. itch.io keeps Welcome to Elderfield v0.6.5 DEMO.zip and credits the project as made with RPG Maker. Those two demos are not the same build: itch is a dated vertical slice, Steam is the store demo that later received v0.11.17.

v0.11.17, 1 September 2026, is the localization and Social menu patch. Official launch languages on that note are English plus Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and Russian. The same post documents a fan-translation autoload list that can include Japanese, Korean, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian. Loadouts shipped in that build too.

The Steam demo page for app 3195680 is still the download button for that branch. itch.io's filename Welcome to Elderfield v0.6.5 DEMO.zip is the other dated artifact, with Discord, Patreon and YouTube links on the itch panel. Neither demo replaces 1.0.0; they are the public history behind it. RPG Maker is the itch engine credit. Loadouts and the Social menu are v0.11.17 features that 1.0.0 keeps. Fan-translation autoload is documented for Japanese, Korean, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian files if you drop them in.

Community wikis for extra tables

welcometoelderfield.wiki.gg already holds a large community database of crops, enemies, mall floors, gods and sleep events. welcometoelderfield.wiki and welcometoelderfield.com are other independent indexes. Those item grids are not reprinted here. Use them when you need a seed number or an enemy HP that Steam never published.

Steam, itch, official trailers and achievement text are the version sources used here. If a community table conflicts with a Steam still or a 1.0.0 news post, the Steam text wins. The Next Fest trailer and Steam news are the public version films.

wiki.gg's scale — 155 articles and a huge image bank in the 2026 snapshot — is why a systems wiki can stay smaller on purpose. Use wiki.gg for crop cells. Use the 1.0.0 ladder here for dated public builds: 7 October 2024, 20 November 2025, 1 September 2026, 10 September 2026.

Soundtrack DLC app 5145770 is Welcome to Elderfield Soundtrack with dark lofi beats by Dated at $4.99. It is a store add-on, not a patch. Next Fest footage is older than v0.11.17 and older than 1.0.0; treat it as a demo-era film, then read the launch post for what actually shipped. The Great Pumpkin still on this route is a 1.0.0-era fight screenshot, not a changelog panel: You're no Pumpkin, in an orange forest, filed here because it shipped with the full game art drop. Read the ladder in order if you are coming from the demo: Steam demo 7 October 2024, itch v0.6.5 on 20 November 2025, v0.11.17 on 1 September 2026 with languages and the Social menu, then 1.0.0 on 10 September 2026. Windows-only, full controller support, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing and Steam Deck Verified all sit on that full build. v0.11.17 is the last named demo patch before launch: official extra languages, Social menu, loadouts and the fan-translation autoload list. itch.io still shows Discord, Patreon and YouTube beside the v0.6.5 zip. Steam demo app 3195680 remains the other free slice. None of those downloads replace 1.0.0; they are how the game reached 10 September 2026 in public. Copyright 2026 Ill-Advised Records, exclusively licensed to Kwalee Ltd, is the legal line on the store. Soundtrack DLC remains a $4.99 add-on by Dated and does not change the 1.0.0 version stamp. DualShock and DualSense support sit on the same full Windows build as Steam Cloud. The US introductory discount is 10 percent, $17.99 down to $16.19, only on that 1.0.0 storefront price in the United States.
