God Shrine and alignment
Seek the Old Gods
Seek the Old Gods is a listed activity on the Steam page. Challenge copy says they are waiting if you skip cozy harvest. A Steam still shows a tentacled statue with the prompt Seek blessings from the God Shrine on Monday Day 1. Curious is align yourself to an Old God. Zealot is align yourself to each Old God at least once. First-party sources never print a complete god roster. What they do print are four Emissary kill achievements: Emissary of Daeus, Emissary of Delvek, Emissary Kaal and Emissary of Xxarteck.
God Shrine blessings
The God Shrine still is the only official shrine screenshot: a tentacled statue and the line Seek blessings from the God Shrine, timestamped Monday Day 1 in the prompt. Blessings have a combat twin on the achievement list. Jacked is have 5 different blessings at once. God Mode is have 5 stacks of 5 different blessings at once. Curses use the same shape: Sickly is 5 different curses, Haggard is 5 stacks of 5 different curses.
That pairing is the Steam systems hint: shrine blessings and combat curses are stackable statuses, not flavor text. Official copy does not list every blessing name or the weekday rotation beyond that Monday Day 1 prompt. If a community page names extra gods, leave them off the roster until Steam prints them.
Monday Day 1 on the prompt is the only weekday Steam printed. It does not prove a weekly rotation, only that the shrine is interactable on day one of a shown save. Walk there when you want blessings; Jacked and God Mode tell you the stack targets after you do.
Curious, Zealot and emissaries
Curious is the first alignment: align yourself to an Old God. Zealot is the completionist step: align yourself to each Old God at least once. Those two achievements prove there is more than one Old God and that alignment is a tracked action, without naming the set. Deep and Damp, Deep and Dark, Deep and Dead and Savior of Elderfield are slay the Emissary of Daeus, Delvek, Kaal and Xxarteck. Those four names are the only emissary labels Steam publishes.
Daeus, Delvek, Kaal and Xxarteck are fight targets, not a confirmed god list. Community gods hubs may map emissaries to patrons; those mappings stay off the roster here. Use the shrine for blessings, use Curious and Zealot for alignment, and use the four emissary achievements as the named bosses on that path.
Challenge path versus cozy harvest
Store copy splits the town: cozy difficulty is harvest and discovery; the Old Gods wait on the challenge path. Turn-based combat, Nightmare and Custom sit on that same path. You can still farm, marry and fish on a challenge save — the split is how much suffering you opt into, not a second campaign.
The Convergence Trailer on Kwalee Gaming is the official film for that tone. Pair it with combat difficulty and the 51 Steam achievements. Steam never says you must pick a god on day one; the shrine prompt simply exists on Monday Day 1 if you walk there.
Seek the Old Gods is also a store activity listed beside die in your sleep, so alignment is optional flavor until you take Curious. Zealot is the completionist step after that. Emissary kills can happen on a save that never aligns; Steam does not print a required order. Deep and Damp, Deep and Dark, Deep and Dead and Savior of Elderfield are the four emissary rows. Jacked and God Mode are the blessing stacks that start at the shrine. Cozy harvest can ignore all of this; the challenge path cannot.
